Melanie, owner and dyer, started The Ginger Needle in 2020 as a part time venture and then took the small business full time in 2025. At The Ginger Needle, we believe that you can be passionate about more than one thing. That's why we use inspiration from non-fiber related topics to create fun colorways. Melanie enjoys sharing her love of space and pop-culture by creating colorways inspired by the NASA Posters or video games such as Horizon Zero Dawn. We specialize in bringing a variety of color and color combinations that pop and catch the eye and ultimately bring joy.
